I had the pleasure of interviewing Amy Silverman — a blogger I have long admired– about her book: My Heart Can’t Even Believe It: A Story Of Science, Love and Down Syndrome. It’s over on Huffington Post: click this link to awesomeness.

Wonderful interview. I’m ashamed to say I never even considered the perspective of a child in the sense “Sophie doesn’t want to have Down syndrome because she sees how it limits her”. I guess I thought the child would accept it as their normal. How ignorant I was, thanks for an enlightening interview.
I loved that Amy talked about that. I think most people don’t consider that. I’m glad you liked it!
